Welcome to Class 2
FS2
Class 2 have had a busy and fun half term learning all about ourselves and pets. We have been investigating our five senses of smell, hearing, sight, touch and our favourite of course was guessing the different tastes!
We got to meet Lightning the Hamster, Marmite the rabbit and Twiggy the stick insect during our week on Pets. We loved acting out being Vets in the home corner, we even got to bring in our animal toys from home to make better. 
During our week on Taste we used the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears as we know how much Goldilocks liked her food! We had a great time measuring the ingredients and making flapjacks from porridge oats. In Foundation Stage 2 we enjoy learning through play both indoors and outdoors, we always have lots of fun. Class 2 are looking forward to our new topic called Sparkle and Shine where we will be learning about festivals of light, space, seasons, night and day and of course lots of Christmas activities. 
We had a go at measuring different sized bears using objects from the classroom, and because Goldilocks broke all the bears furniture we made them some more for from construction.
